The Texas Tycoons are an all-star band led by Paul Minor featuring the most in-demand Texas musicians performing a wide variety of Lone Star classics. Whether it's rock and roll, country, top 40, or blues Texas musicians have made a giant musical impact over the last 50 years. To celebrate their great musical heritage, the Texas Tycoons have built a repertoire as vast and varied as the great state itself. From Archie Bell to ZZ Top, Willie Nelson to T-Bone Walker, Doug Sahm to Buddy Holly, if it's Texas music, the Tycoons have got it covered.

Dynamic bandleader Paul Minor also leads popular wedding circuit band Alterego and created the Texas Tycoons to celebrate the great legacy of Texas music. Paul was the lead singer in The Argyles, one of the state's most popular party bands in the 1980s and 1990s. In his quest to fill the world with great music he has released four albums with Hole in the Wall house band Superego and was inducted into the Texas Music Hall of Fame at the 2002 Austin Music Awards. The Texas Tycoons features top notch musicianship and professionalism. Due to the high demand for these players, Paul customizes his band for each gig with recruits from a stable of high caliber musicians with the talent, experience, and qualifications to become Texas Tycoons.
