Norma Zenteno

"This is the stuff that brings people on to the dance floor: Salsa music, slinky and hot.... Musically, one of Houston's better groups and certainly the best salsa band in the city."
Aaron Howard, Public News

The Norma Zenteno band features sultry vocals, top notch Latin grooves, and stellar musicianship to generate excitement and action on the dance floor.  Norma, and her brother Javier, continue the legacy as Houston's first family of salsa started by their father and acclaimed trumpeter Roberto Zenteno.  While merengues, salsa, cumbias and cha chas are the foundation of the Norma Zenteno Band, they also keep their audiences engaged with a wide variety of funk, rhythm & blues, jazz and rock and roll dance numbers.
