A mainstay on the legendary Duke/Peacock record label, he played and wrote songs with the greats, including Bobby "Blue" Bland and Junior Parker. Texas Johnny Brown and his band have traveled the world, from bayou juke joints to the National Mall as part of the Smithsonian's Folklife Festival.
